Shiney Case Updates
Actor Shiney Ahuja was not intoxicated when he allegedly raped his 18-year-old maid servant on June 14, a few days back. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) at Kalina has submitted the blood test report of the actor to the police and it indicated that he was not drunk when the incident took place.
Zonal Deputy Commissioner of Police Niket Kaushik said that the blood report of the actor shows that he was not under influence when he allegedly raped his maid. The police had earlier sent the blood sample to the lab to ascertain if he had taken any alcohol or drugs that fateful afternoon.
A Mumbai court has extended his judicial custody to July 2. He was produced in court yesterday, June 17.
The preliminary investigation by the police has confirmed sexual assault. The results of the DNA and other tests are expected to take some time.
Meanwhile, Shiney’s wife Anupam Ahuja claimed that he has been framed. His lawyer Shrikant Shivade said that he would appeal against the court order and seek bail.
