Shiney Ahuja seeks bail from the Court

The DNA reports might have confirmed him of having raped his maid servant but Shiney Ahuja seems to be unfazed by all this. Current news is that this actor whose judicial remand ends on July 2 is seeking an immediate bail from the court. The reason Shiney comes from a good family background with no past criminal records and has a big list of unfinished projects.

Shiney Ahuja’s lawyer Shrikant Shivade argued that his client has no criminal antecedents and is from a good family. Shrikanth also added that the trial could take a long time which may affect his unfinished films.

Shiney Ahuja was working on three project Accident with Soha Ali Khan, Chaloo Movie and Har Pall with Preity Zinta when he was arrested. The application would now be heard on July 3 a day after his judicial remand in Mumbai’s Aurther Road Jail ends.

Sources in the police said that with Shiney’s DNA report confirming he had sexual intercourse with the maid servant her accusing him of rape they have enough evidence to grill him.

It now seems very unlikely that Shiney Ahuja will be granted a bail as the forensic report puts the actor on the back foot. Many Women Rights Group are closely monitoring the case and demanded it to be fast tracked.
